Tear stained pillow lay still
Heart ripping in two
Headache churning in circles
The battle of logic is won
Slow drips of blood follow
Red streaked across the wall
Icy pain escaping the eyes
Finally coming to an end
My heart falls in defeat
No more beats to defend
Head fading into the darkness
Body curled in pain
Sobs escaping through scarlet tears
I finally reach release
As my hand falls to the pit
Heart closed in darkness
Streams of blood reach their end
No breath left
Love forgotten
