Heart Beat

Lost in the Dark Abyss

By Katrina PridePublished 4 years ago 1 min read

Like the rhythm of a beat made just for me, your heart beat lulls me into a peaceful sleep.

Listening to the thump, thump that pounds out of your chest, I feel my heart skip a beat with the inhale of every breath.

Every breath of your pheromones, your natural essence intoxicates me sending me into a high Mary Jane could never reach.

I feel myself slipping, deeper and deeper into the dark abyss of your chocolate toned chest, finding my thoughts running towards what could possibly be next.

But I quickly catch myself with the constant reminder that this feeling comes like a rapid wave over me and leaves like that of which is provided by the herbs at the bottom of a grinder.

So until my next fix of your smell touch and taste, I’m stuck here with these displaced feelings like a heavy weight.
