Hear Me, Oh LORD!

A cry for help, to the only one who can save; meant to be read like a Psalm.

Oh Lord I cry out to you!

Please do not turn your face from me!

I've borrowed tomorrow's trouble,

And yesterday's sin follows me

The voice of my enemy shouts at me!

Save me from my troubles and sorrow

Please be my light for today and tomorrow

Please be my sight in days without light

My enemy gloats over me,

But darkness has no power over me!

Remind me of the light you put in me

Create in me, a clean heart Oh God

Create an upright spirit within me

Remind me of the worth you put in me

From the price you paid on Calvary

The God of all comfort, you are near to the broken-hearted

Whether in the valley or the fire, I lift you up

Even in the darkest days I'll still give you praise,

I'll forever seek your face

Oh Lord I cry out to you and you hear my songs of weeping!

Please Oh Lord, pick me up and place me back on my feet

Deliver me from the palms of my enemy

Know me Oh God!

Take me Oh God and never let me go!

Hear me, Oh Lord I cry out to you

About the Creator

Josh Morgan

Personally, writing began as a creative outlet, to be a means of processing and venting emotion, but it has become so much more. Something I want not to be just relatable, enjoyable and a good read, but to reach someone who is in need.
