Hateful words, that tear us apart,

Hurting others, with a bitter heart,

Hollow actions, that leave a scar,

Hateful behavior, that goes too far.

Hiding behind anger, and deep-seated pain,

Hurting ourselves, again and again,

Hindered by hate, that clouds our brain,

Hateful emotions, that we can't restrain.

Harsh judgments, that come without thought,

Hindering progress, and all we have sought,

Hurtful reactions, that leave us distraught,

Hateful attitudes, that need to be fought.

Holding on to grudges, that weigh us down,

Hindering forgiveness, and healing to be found,

Heartless actions, that leave us to drown,

Hateful intentions, that need to be unbound.

Hopeful future, that lies ahead,

Healing and love, that need to be spread,

Helping hands, that lift us instead,

Hateful behavior, to be put to bed.
