HARPOcrates

Silent Laughter

By C. Rommial ButlerPublished about a year ago 1 min read
Harpo Marx and Lucille Ball doing the old mirror gag...

Seeking the beauty in mundane things

I find it aplenty when the songbird sings

Longlingly into the open air,

Even where thunder threatens despair.

Never where storm or stress does appear

Can it shake my resolve to hold so dear

Eternal love, in golden silence, here.

That is so beautiful. Reminds me of my children and the love they share with their spouses.
