Harmony in Contrast
Exploring the Balance Between Simplicity and Complexity

In this wide yet narrow planet,
Where light and darkness often go hand in hand,
Basic shapes which are playful and clean,
Are in blacker tones of the approaching evening.
--
A single tone, a breath so slight,
Can be heard in the soul’s silence of the earth,
Beauty at the angles that are stiff and fluid,
Shows wisdom that is plain and bare.
--
But when limiting oneself with one color,
Other shape changes follow the order,
Rays of vision and flickers of views spread,
Out in order but with constant thread.
--
A web of net invasive constructs,
Where each twist exposes unconfined targets,
The ever flow and aspect of complexity,
Constantly forms the universe that is in stability.
--
While a great show is, however,
There is still a way for ordinary ‘things’;
In agitated quietude, correctly and defiantly
The notion of night must take form.
--
Thus, we value heroics and quiet beauty,
And complexity and awe-inspiring emptiness,
For in the rhythm of sun and moon,
We lost, recovered, and found our truths,
Soundless or deeply hidden measures of harmony.
