Halloween's Here, And She's Seeking
Beware

She crawls out of the shadows
on this night, every year
The celebration, hallowed
when the sky is crystal clear
Craving some new attention
seeking everywhere to find
Her souls only companion
tied like a pumpkin to a vine
The ravens call a warning
flock with murder on their minds
Rituals are habit forming
leaving sanity behind
Grave sites rumble, discontented
wanting her, to call their names
At her hand, be reinvented
to celebrate with her, death day
Keep your treats, she's only tricking
her sweet tooth is rotten to the core
What she craves is dark and sickening
halloween and all its gore
So, when the sun is sinking low
and the moon is on the rise
Be careful where you go
and watch out for her glowing eyes
Cause she comes to claim a lover
to take him with her to the grave
So, you'd better run for cover
once you're chosen, you can't be saved

That was creepy, and fun.
This poem captures the eerie essence of Halloween, blending themes of darkness, death, and the supernatural. It evokes a haunting atmosphere with vivid imagery and warns of the dangers lurking as night falls. The personification of death as a seductive entity adds a chilling allure, making it a captivating read for the season.
Delightfully spooky, Kelly.
Lawd! I'm staying home, home, home! Making my garlic necklace now! Really creepy and clever!
