I’ve always wanted a relationship with a person who I could grow with. Funny that I only just realised I’ve had that all along.
Mom, when I look back on the past 28 years, I think of my incredible childhood, your endless (and sometimes tough) love and so many memories I couldn’t begin to summarise. But what I’ve only just began to see is you growing from your 20s to your 50s - a new mom, a homemaker, an entrepreneur, a philanthropist, a friend, a loyal wife and an absolutely incredible woman. You’ve taught me to be strong, trusting and compassionate. Your resilience inspires me and your friendship gets me through things I didn’t know I could survive. Don’t forget to look in the mirror today and remind yourself how amazing you are. It’s obvious to everyone around you but I know you forget sometimes. I love you so much and with us continuing to grow together, I know we will be okay.
