7am pills. 3pm pills. 10pm pills.

Unscrew the cap

Water

Wash it down

As a little girl, I remember my fathers legs

They could carry anything

Big thick thighs thundering through what life threw at him

He built houses, supported us and even ran like Freddie flinstone

7am pills. 3pm pills. 10pm pills.

Wash it down

My Dad’s broad shoulders protected us from the lightning and the rain

These same shoulders taught me how to throw a softball and how to pretend I felt no pain

They swung a hammer and showed me what beauty we can make with our hands

7am pills. 3pm pills. 10pm pills.

Unscrew the cap

Water

Wash it down

His round italian belly full of meals and memories with family and friends

It always featured on a hot day turning red like a lobster without sunscreen

He really did show me being big boned is more than okay

7am pills. 3pm pills. 10pm pills.

Unscrew the cap

Water

Wash it down

But most of all when I think of my father, it is his mind that I appreciate

A beautiful mind like you’ve never seen before

This wise man, as some may say, truly gets life, even when nothing seems right

He practices acceptance, and love and joy

You wouldn’t even know that every day he has

7am pills. 3pm pills. 10pm pills.
