It's Groundhog Day, February 2, 2025, and the custom of
Punxsutawney Phil's prediction about winter was ceremoniously conducted
by the "Inner Circle" in their top hats and tuxedos for the cameras.
Snow blanketed our town overnight and continues all day to alternate
between floating furry frozen flakes and plopping white wafers.
Winter has arrived in February, just as it does most years here.
You men of Young Township, Pennsylvania, in your top hats and tuxedos, you of the Inner Circle, take your breakfast outside at dawn in your robe. Predict the length of winter? Read the sky and mercury - or the Farmers Almanac.
Release the groundhog!
Live free or die, say I.

Tbh, I don't know what Groundhog Day is although I've heard of it thousands of times 😅😅
It wasn’t until I moved to the US that I realized that groundhogs were a real thing! I thought they were made up! This was BRILL.
