grey?

by Malcolm Xavier

By Malcolm XavierPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

In a black and white world

Who dares to be grey?

The man who watches himself spill red?

And he can't do anything but bleed?

The woman whose eyes flood with blue?

Yet she does nothing but cry?

The kids who dream of gold?

But all they can do is hope?

The one who is blind

That is the one who dares to be

To see only what it finds

Finding everything one needs

For the world is not black or white

Or gold, or red, or blue

All there is is a blur of light

The rest is up to me
