Grasping the Cobwebs of Sleeping Adventures

A dream of a dream

It was a dark and stormy night-

No, wait, I don’t think that’s quite right,

There was a red sky, in the morning,

I think it could have been a warning.

I was sailing on the ocean blue,

With pirates, we were trying to

Find the silver-or was it gold?

In blazing heat, or, maybe cold?

Through weather foul (possibly fair)

Wait-I think Mark Wahlberg was there?!

Or maybe it was Matt Damon?

Not sure, but we were at Grand Cayman-

Or Hawaii? We sank a ship,

A fishing boat, while winds did whip-

Or was it a cruise ship, on calm seas?

After, we saved some refugees.

Or were they pirates? I don’t recall.

Maybe it wasn’t a boat at all.

Were we on land? In Italy?

Or on a plane to Tennessee?

It was so vivid, like it was real,

I love the way it made me feel.

Oh well, I think the dream is gone.

It’s time to put the coffee on.
