It’s still burning
Feel like it removing the protective lying
Its hurting
Hurting like never before
Like life itself is beating it
Down by stress
Stuck in the same position
Turn and it yells
Breathe and it screams
Yell and it hollers
Your anger makes it angrier
Your worry makes it sick
Try to feed it and it will hate you
This friend/ foe is not for the weak
Give it medicine to calm it down
Prescribe and over-the-counter
It’ll let you know who the real boss of this town
Keep you in bed all-day
Goals are delay
It needs your attention
But you don't understand its intention
