Got a Secret
Want to know what it is ?

Got a Secret
Got a secret, locked it tight,
whispered once to kill the night.
Soft as breath, sharp as sin,
sealed with lips, yet creeping in.
Told the dark, it swore to keep,
but shadows talk, and silence leaks.
Footsteps traced it, word by word,
till echoes sang what no one heard.
Kiss and tell? The choice was made.
Now names are written, mouths are paid.
Secrets burn when left to dwell—
tell one lie, you tell them well.
It started soft, a little tiny spark,
but fires rise when left in dark.
A careless tongue, a silver gem,
a whispered truth that won’t obey.
Eye’s are watching, doors are closed,
voices hush where gossip grows.
The price of lips that dare to slip—
a love betrayed, a sinking ship.
So guard your words, don’t let them stray,
for even ghosts have debts to pay.
And secrets, once they taste the air,
will turn on you and leave you bare.
If you have a secret don’t tell at all
For loose lips could be your fall.
Lock in a box with a magic key
Best place for secrets don’t you agree.

'Got a Secret' is a poem that kind of teaches that some secrets should be kept while there are others that should be told. Good job.
I just finished reading your poem "Got a Secret" and felt deeply connected to its message. The way you capture the complexity of holding onto something internal and the weight that secrecy brings is powerful. It made me reflect on how often we keep parts of ourselves hidden, either out of fear or to protect others, and how it shapes our interactions with the world around us.
