Before I tell you what it is
Love ain't some masterpiece
of passion heights
you get to admire from afar
after minimum payment
Be all or nothing
with no excuses
ready with unprepared naivete to hand
well-practised travel to extremes
and comfortable as all get out ‘bout it-‘bout it
cuz short-haul flights suit the uninitiated
Better know for certain
that this itinerary
plots a trackless journey
through galaxies connecting cosmos
still falling over itself
while majesty with devotion plants kisses
across tender comet-brushed lips
