Goldfish Love: A Loop of Forgetful Bliss

A Tale of Love with a Three-Second Memory

By Tale WeaverPublished 10 months ago 1 min read

Our love is like a goldfish bright,

Swimming in circles, left then right.

Forgets the past in just a blink,

Yet finds me again—oh, don’t you think?

_ _ _

You tell me secrets, deep and true,

Three seconds pass—wait, who are you?

Yet somehow, dear, we always know,

Back to the start, our love will go.

_ _ _

Like castle pebbles in our bowl,

We lose the plot, but not the soul.

No grudges held, no fights too long,

Just happy bubbles, love so strong.

_ _ _

So here we swim, just you and me,

A love so pure, so memory-free!

No past to haunt, no future fright—

Just endless joy in fishbowl light.

I love how capture the idea of love that is simple and free from the weight of the past.
