Gold

Color Of Me

By Addison CulpPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

The feeling of sunshine licks across my skin

Surely these desires are the sweetest form of Sin

Where living in the now takes me deep within

Learning to unravel the layers spread so thin.

I close my eyes and breathe

as colors begin to seethe

red and orange bursts of light

I follow eagerly.

Down the narrow passage ways

Past the worries and the fears

Here is where I see it

the Gold that lies within.

I am the source of Sunlight

As Without, So Within

Here I am made whole

A golden seraphim.
