Frustrated

F - For fuck’s sake, I feel let down by life’s twists and turns.

R - Royally irritated, my patience wears thin.

U - Under the circumstances, I feel majorly disappointed.

S - Stop it, this aggravation is getting to me.

T - Totally fed up with the situation

R - Really annoyed with the actions of others

A - Annoyed that things aren’t going my way

T - Thwarted at every turn

E - Easily vexed at every word

D - Discouraged, I’m tempted to give up.

By life's twists and turns,

Royally irritated,

Frustration takes hold.

Real disappointment

In being let down again

Causes annoyance

It’s hard not to be disappointed

A feeling of vexation,

A knot in my chest,

A tightening sensation,

A burden I can't divest.

It's like a tangled mess,

A puzzle with no key,

A weight I can't confess,

A storm inside of me.

It's a roadblock in my path,

A barrier in my way,

A hindrance in my aftermath,

A dark cloud on a gray day.

But I won't let it define me,

I won't let it bring me down,

I'll find the strength to free me,

And turn this frustration around.

So I'll take a deep breath,

And I'll start anew,

I'll find a way to cope,

And find my way through.

For frustration is a teacher,

It's a lesson to be learned,

It's a fire that can be a preacher,

And a flame that can be yearned.

So I'll embrace the frustration,
