The first glimpse of winter

Glistening, sparkling, gleaming

A delightful winter wonderland

As the sun casts its rays

On the shadow of the morning dew

Kissing the frozen grass

Visions of an ice palace

With a snow queen

Dancing waltzing prancing

In her frozen abode

Deep within a snow globe

The crystals shimmer and shine

Beneath my ice-cold bare feet

It all comes to life

Thousands of glimmering, shivering

Miniscule ice sickles

numbing my toes and heels

twinkling, glowing, and winking at me

Giving the illusion of a fresh fallen snow

Glittering florescent glamour

Only nature could provide

My heart is melting

As I'm captured by

the allure of the first kiss

of winter-I'm frosted
