Frost

Snowflakes everywhere

When the frost
Is in my heart
And not out there,
When there are snowlakes everywhere,

I start to doubt
That the melody
Coming from my veins,
Will echo

Through the chambers
Of my body,
Rekindelling a certain spark,

That was once lost.
So what if I'm not as young as before?
So what if I'm growing older?
There's beauty in that, as well.
