From Pencils Shared to Hearts Entwined

A Love Letter to My Schoolyard Sweetheart

From Pencils Shared to Hearts Entwined By - Rajesh Kumar Giri

In classrooms filled with whispered jokes,

And tests that stole our teenage woes,

You sat beside me, laughter close,

A friendship's seed began to grow.

Pencils shared, erasers lent,

A silent pact, a glance well-sent.

Passing notes with secrets penned,

Our world confined within a friend.

Years turned pages, seasons flew,

Inside jokes bloomed, a loyal crew.

Lunchtime talks, dreams whispered true,

A bond unbreakable, just me and you.

Then, in a shift, a sudden beat,

My gaze lingered, a blush so sweet.

Friendship's flame, a gentle heat,

Blossomed into love, oh so complete.

Now, holding hands, hearts intertwined,

The schoolyard sweethearts, forever defined.

From stolen glances, love we've mined,

A love story in classrooms confined.
