Needless to say, I am running late again...it is already 7:48 am!
I should have skipped that second cup of coffee...ugghh
Nevertheless, I carry on while the morning news continues, but...
Everything stops...just stops when I hear the News and see the smoke
Oh, my God! Oh, my God...how did this "accident" occur???
Nobody on that plane is going to survive that...or the people inside, either!
Every fiber of my body begins to pray for all of them and their families.
Oh, forget work...I am glued to the tv now...time has just taken a backseat.
NOT AGAIN! No!!! How? Why? I see it happening: 8:03am in Austin.
Everybody now knows, it is not an accident, though...
(It only took two minutes to air from the time of the attack)

Your acrostic vividly captures the tragedy.
To be there had to be the worst. So sorry, Caitlin!❤️ It was bad from across the country! Everyone at the television was watching the attack. I was doing training, and in the group was a great crisis responder, who immediately stepped up and took charge. I welcomed his stepping in. A couple of people had loved ones there. One who was working there. He made sure they had a phone to call right away. After the television experience, he talked to us about what we should do for self-care, and some things to consider with the experience.❤️
⚪️ there was a lot of smoke ~ only taking 2 minutes to air from time of attack is insane ⚪️ the weight of what happened ~ I can’t see why it would allow anything other than being glued to the tv ~ I love the rhyme in the first line (late again— 7:48am) ⚪️ seems like all ‘tragedies’ this big, is never ever really an ‘accident’ ♥️♥️🤗♥️♥️
You captured not just the shock of the moment but how it’s seared into our memories forever.
Such a 💔-ing event! Very well-written Shirley!
