The minute you walked in the room
I could tell you were my husband to be
Something in the way you moved
Caused a reaction in me
You walked with a swagger
Dressed so refined
Yes I knew in that instant
That you would be mine
From across the room
Cupid hit be hard
My destiny unfolding
It was in the cards
Butterflies in my stomach
Feeling light on my feet
I was speechless as I felt
My heart skip a beat
I was giddy as a schoolgirl
When you walked down the aisle
You turned towards me and
Flashed a bright smile
Closer and closer you came
Right in front of me
You asked my name
I opened my mouth
Yet I could not speak
Suddenly I thought I felt
Your hand on my cheek
Jolted back to reality
It was my own hand I had felt
You were still across the room
I thought I would melt
It was all in my mind
Just my imagination
Oh the shame of itall
Despair and degredation
How foolish of me
You had not even turned my way
Still, I know I felt
True love on that day
From a distance
And so far apart
I fell for you and
You captured my heart
