Moon in Aquarius
Frei Sein
Bird in a cage,
Rat in a maze,
Thoughts on a loop,
Mind in a daze
Spinning around,
Spinning my wheels,
Running from monsters,
Brokering deals
All is not lost,
Love is like war,
Surviving the battle,
Hiding my scars
Just being honest,
The cost to be real,
Mess in my mind,
Writing for thrill
Pain of the past,
Haunted no more,
All of my ancestors,
Even the score
Price that I pay,
To not lose my soul,
Living in freedom,
That is the goal
All that I want,
All that is mine,
What I deserve,
All in due time
Burden of proof,
Burden of shame,
Take back your words,
I’m done with this game
Living a lie,
That I refuse,
Walking for miles,
These tired shoes
Saving myself,
Those that I love,
Telling the truth
Looking above
Flying likes Eagles,
Cawing like crows,
Sowing the seeds,
Soon they will grow
End of a chapter,
End of a season,
Trying to find,
The rhyme or reason
Full moon upon us,
Time to be free,
All that I want,
Is just to be me
