Foul Deeds
Moment of Silence Acrostic Poem
By Cindy CalderPublished about a year ago • Updated about a year ago • 1 min read

Silent stench of carcass
In the garden, midst dead weeds
Lingers, bares our most foul deeds
Embracing man’s succumbing ways
Nourishing his path to mortal fray
Calculating impending hell in
Elements of evil’s spell

Great, I have AC/DC in my head now 😄 Brilliant poem, I could feel that cloying stench (what a great word) on my skin and nostrils!
Interesting, Cindy. Still thinking about it.

Ah, bone chills! Silent as a graveyard... is what this makes me think of. Good job spooky friend!
Oh snap! I fear that is not just a dead rodent in the garden! I love your word choices, Cindy! "Nourishing his path to mortal fray." Wow, nice.
Oooh that's a good one.
Incredible work.
Blimey. This was menacing!
The pain of destruction equips with knowledge.
Whoa, a different presentation of the place we don't want to be. The silence and desolation are poignant.
