Aromatic Elixir

Moment of Silence Acrostic Challenge

By Cindy CalderPublished about a year ago 1 min read

Silent steam swirls to tickle your nose as

Icy taste soothes, relaxing body and soul

Lavishing waves of overwhelming flavor

Explode to linger and settle, well savored

Narcreous pearls of peppermint delight

Celebrate lingering moments of respite

Enveloped in a cup of tea’s spotlight.

It’s the small things isn’t it? Peppermint is soothing for body and mind, and something about a cup of warm liquid in your hands is so calming. “Narcreous”- had to look that one up😄

In this cozy poem, the sensation of enjoying a spot of tea appeals to the senses. Not just that, it brings the reader into a world of satisfaction and ease that permits peace in the troubled soul. —S.S.
