FOREVER LOVE

The Love we share is one that has grown

It has had it's fair share of ups and downs around the merry go round!

You are simply my reflection and you have allowed me to see me clearly

I had to dig deep to find my true self but you;

You pricked every fiber of my soul

Talking about digging for GOLD..

Who knew that the treasure I found which is me

Would be worth so much and so profound...

I desired greater knowledge; to be whole

I wanted peace and you gave me hell so I could have a guide....

We wanted freedom and liberation yet there were times we were trapped

Trapped in a cycle and pattern we laid out for ourselves

Finally we got through it;

The pain and pleasures brought forth great explorations

Chaos, Distrust, disloyalty, Jealousy, Insecurity

All rose their heads within our union

No wonder it has taken us so long to find our way..

No matter what the people say

We have written our own vows and set our own standards

We are free in thee and within our being

We are liberated and our souls find comfort in one another

After time we have developed a healthy way of relating

All toxicity has gone and only pure genuine love remains

Love covers all.. It heals, forgives, sets boundaries and learns to trust again

Love is different for every being and every couple; yet I'm happy about ours

Forever Love is what we got; through the good, bad, and the ugly

No one has ever touched my soul the way you do..

No fantasy this is my Reality!

I'm grateful! It matters not what society says about you; You are a god!

You are my Black King, My Emperor, My lover and Friend...

This shall never end

I never thought my heart would finally be true to one being such as you

I'm thankful that you love me for who I am.. I love you as you are also

We grow forward together and it can only get better from here...

In spirit and truth along this path of Love and Life in our adventure

Good thing you are the prototype and I am the Mrs. to your Mr.

Journeys are found within life and we're taking this one forever...

Forever Love and so divine becomes more relevant

When you take time for me

Patience is a virtue, yet you have embraced it and offer it

Over and over again, Thank you....

Today I'm simply grateful that WE have survived and will continue to with

The Forever Love we have encountered... No one can take us from it

Our bond is forever growing and expanding open for greater connections

and greater love within divine time... Thankful that you are my Soul Mate!
