Forever In My Heart

In a sacred apartment of my heart, they dwell,

My mother with my children, in a sacred shell.

She left this world before my wedding day,

But in my heart, she chose to stay.

My children never knew her gentle grace,

Yet in my heart, they find her face.

A grandmother's love, so tender, so kind,

They often meet, when peace they find.

With high blood pressure, it is a nest,

Where grief, love and memories all do rest!

Children's laughter fills the air,

Protected by ribs, without a care.

Breathing becomes a tiring task,

As one heart beats for all, behind its cheering mask.

When father and brother also visit from the skies,

Joyful tears come to my eyes.

I tell them, “Stay, don’t ever part,

For in this home, you have all places in my heart.”

Yet, tachycardia whispers in fear,

Jealous of the love that won’t go dear.

But my heart doesn't care; it just swells in size.

To keep all of those memories with wonderful ties.

I love and miss you, my pieces of heart.

We'll be united one day, and never be far apart.
