Forever Hold My Peace

Waiting On Karma

By Kelli Sheckler-AmsdenPublished 7 months ago Updated 7 months ago 1 min read

you’re mean

and you’re rude

you're obscene

and a prude

*

pain in my ass

neck and my head

and I know it sounds crass

but I’ve wished you were dead

*

cause you talk too much

too long too loud

I won’t pull a punch

you're too frickin’ proud

*

that smirk that you wear

I’d like to knock it right off

I’d like to prepare (just for you)

a cocktail, Molotov

*

watch you pop a top

splatter a wall or two

unload and tell you off

wipe that smile right off you

*

but, instead I’ll bite my lip

refrain and hold my tongue

lean back and take a sip

and let karma get it done

That's right Kelli tell them off don't be shy. Good job.

Yes, karma usually does have a way of handling these things.
