This is for Mikeydred's April Prompt and Natasha's poetry prompt.

It is the International Day of Multilaterism and Diplomacy for Peace, established by the UN to promote peaceful relations between countries.

With that in mind, the dove flies in. Help him live as he should.

🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️

A dove with darkened wings flew

Wore a tight scarf of black hearts true.

He traipsed on a wire,

Set clotheslines on fire

Claimed, "Darkness is art, I knew!"

🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️

But one day he slipped off the wood

Of a tree branch, on which he stood

He landed near trees

Where olives meant peace

And decided to live as he should.

🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️
