Flower Told The Eagle

( A Conversation, Had tween 5 & 6 )

By Marcus RomanoPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

"I am Alive ! I am alive!"

Said: the Rose, to the sky

Petals, reaching, way up high

Never asking Reason "Why?"

Till an ant crawled on by

And the flower it did spy

So it asked, a question :"Why?"

"For the sun has kissed my eye!"

Was the rose, and the reply

Clouds gathering cross the sky

To wash away, that question "Why"

That ant, floated on vines

Till an eagle, flew on by

Swooped down, reasoned "Why:"

A flower does not scrape the sky

Such is what the flower did confide:

"

Here below, is above

Where it is warm, beneath the sun

Where our lives, they are summed

By the love song to the none

"

A big grin, wings a fin

Eagle bled Iaccharus plastic sin

Tumbled down, to the ground

By a serpent with a mane

Eyes still sharp, but never vane

He watched, he watched the whether change

And blamed the flower for what there came

But without a finger with which to point its shame

Two bad, He did complain

It was just another whether change

Still, did the flower excl..

"I am alive! I am alive!"
