I am an echo of longings planted
in red, southern, earth,
blooming fierce, incandescent yellow,
rivaling the sun, and the tips of flames.
***
I am the jewel of flower crowns,
made for coronations aside sapphire streams,
regality formed from imagining a world
where wild, untamed, native buds are cherished.
***
And when Summer yields her smoldering ways,
and Autumn breezes sigh through the indigo hills,
I mirror the clouds,
caught in their breath,
dancing, twirling, floating upon dreams
that will sleep through the dead gray of winter,
until light, warmth, and hope return a new,
and wishes florescence once more.

I love this poem. A great reminder that something we consider as nuisance as an adult we once cherished with whimsy as children. Beautifully written as always.
I absolutely love this poem. I feel as if I'm following along through the seasons with your words. Great piece.
I loved this! It's so soft and your voice is phenomenal. Such amazing poetry!
