Like a flame dancing in the night
Fighting to always be a source of light
A warm place for those around
Trying to burn away the darkness that surrounds
The struggles to keep her flame lit
Some have tried to tame it
Some have tried strangle it
Others have simply gotten entangled in it
She flickers between fury and grace
Shadows and beauty dance across her face
Her warmth longs to be shared
The fire inside longing to be dared
But do not touch her carelessly
For she will burn you
She is an ember
How she ignites depends on what you do
