Appreciation goes a long way
It can decide whether one walks or stays
It can come in many forms
And help one weather many a storms
Knowing someone see’s all your hard work
Knowing someone supports all your little quirks
Someone willing to learn your languages
To learn your needs, your desires
Someone unafraid to give what you require
Or at the very least willing to try…
Someone who chooses your kisses over air
Who’s presence quiets the despair
Who’s touch sends chills through you
Who’s voice can absolutely undo you.
You deserve to feel wanted
You deserve to feel how important you are to someone
Without having to plead
Without having to sacrifice what you need
Appreciation goes a long way
