Fish

on a cloudy day

Secrets the river whispered to you revealed a gathering of fish that cloudy day

I wish the river would talk to me now that you’re flying with seabirds

Listening to the breeze, I strain to hear not your voice, for that would be torture

Enlightenment by river wisdom is now my hunger

Never shall I betray a river truth as you taught me to be still

Calmly, I must accept your departure to a place where even fish are free

Escorted, I imagine, by a red kayak floating beyond (where the river meets the sea).

Oh this is heartbreaking . Even when the mind rest on the fishes, for a bit. I feel the sadness coming through. 'As you taught me to be still' aw. Following a lesson that was left behind. Or a ritual left behind to follow. Where the river meets the sea. Such a soft and tender ending. Beautiful, absolute beautifully done. Sending you hugs and love 🤗 ❤️ 🖤
