First Bite Is the Deepest
First opening of deception and sin

First Bite Is the Deepest
Beneath a sky of silent dread,
they stood where fate and hunger fed.
Their skin was cracked like thirsty land,
temptation placed in trembling hand.
The serpent whispered, coiled and near,
its tongue a blade, its voice a lick of fear
The tree, no leaves just flesh and vein,
its roots entwined with want and pain.
She offered Adam the crimson sin,
a fruit so sweet, so ripe within.
One bite the first, the sharpest cut,
a door of knowledge, will never shut.
The key lay lost upon the ground,
the door ajar but never found.
And so they fell, yet still they stand,
with wisdom cursed, in dust and sand.
One bite—there was no going back,
welcome to deceit and struggle,
and the knowledge of evil you lack.
A kingdom to which you can’t go back.

Rod sing about the cut 👌👏
Have we learned anything from Adam and Eve. Good job.
Yep so sad, you described it so well. And I love the flow of it.
