I know the world is not against me

But these days it sure feels like it is

Friends aren’t doing their part in these friendships

When did life come to this?

I used to be so excited about the littlest things

And now the littlest things really piss me off

I don’t know who I am sometimes

I don’t know where I’ve been

These days I’m finding myself again

I’m gonna play this old guitar

Singing songs I wrote years ago

I’m gonna savor the taste of bourbon

Maybe head down that road

I know in the end

I want to find myself again
