Figments Of Our Minds

a poem by Solomon

figments of minds by Solomon

Delusions dance, oh what a ride

A voyage to realms the mind implied

Illusions weave, reality aside

But how do we decode this slide?

Is it a symptom of a fractured mind?

Or glimpses of a world we're yet to find?

A whisper from the cosmic, a sign divine?

Or merely glitches in the neural line?

Some claim it's a window, a peek behind the veil

An odyssey solo, where mysteries prevail

To touch the untouchable, to sense the unknown

To shatter norms, to break the monotone

Others deem it a curse, a cage of the psyche

A maze of torment, where shadows strike

A plunge into chaos, where sanity folds

A journey to where the essence is sold

But who holds truth, and who holds lies?

Who defines sanity, who denies?

Perhaps it's all perception's game

A mirror to our inner flame

So let's not fear the visions that sway

Let's embrace them, let them have their say

For they're fragments of our being, our lore

A glimpse of infinity, forevermore.
