Fiction’s Perfect Men
A Contrast Between Dream and Reality

In pages bound and ink-stained dreams,
There live the men of grander schemes.
With hearts of gold and eyes that gleam,
They’re woven into every girl’s dream.
They charm us with their gallant ways,
In stories bright and moonlit haze.
Their words, like whispers in the night,
Illuminate the dark with soft, pure light.
Their love is fierce, their strength is kind,
With every flaw, their hearts aligned.
Yet in the world outside the book,
We find ourselves in different luck.
For in real life, the tale seems grim,
Where shadows cast on hopes grow dim.
The men we meet are flawed and scarred,
Their love sometimes feels just too hard.
We yearn for truths from fiction’s page,
For characters who never age.
In novels, they are perfect still,
While real-life hearts may falter, chill.
Yet though we love the men we read,
We must remember, dreams indeed,
Are visions of a world that’s bright,
But life is lived in shades of light.
So cherish heroes in their place,
But seek real love with gentle grace.
For every heart has its own way,
To write a tale in its own day.
