If I was to write a poem about being _____

I would dive deep inside just to ask myself,

Why are you so deep?

Why are you so down?

You used to have rainbows when the rain fell down.

The colour inside you has gone,

The clouds are over bearing,

This isn’t the same you, who was always happy, content and sharing.

But we all have these times,

Those moments that feel unforgiving,

And in those dark moments,

Put your hand to your chest and feel your heart beating.

Every beat is a song,

A song that sings for you,

Giving life and true meaning,

To your story that has bright times and blue.
