There’s a dragon living in my head
It fights and sleeps
I sit and think
It’s fire breath all over me.
At times I want to scream and shout
But it prowls within my mind.
The dragon Is tame
She paces all day
Her steam heats up my body.
Her wit so canny
I don’t know myself
Is it me of the dragon who reigns?
Sometimes I feel like I’ve lost all control
My emotions take over like fire.
This dragon is taunting
Clever, powerful and strong
Is it me who’s the dragon along?
I must tame this dragon
I sit and I breathe
Calm my nerves
Think of happy memories.
I am the dragon tamer
It’s been me all along
My force is stronger than I believe
As to fire, there is water
I cool myself down
Let the flow of emotions release.
I’m in control of the dragon
Our souls connected
Her emotions our mine
I am the creator of this dragon mind.
