I'm an empty canvas
hoping for splashes of excellence -
a dollop of distinction
a stroke of consequence.
*
I'm an unwritten song,
waiting for notes of brilliance -
a rhythm of exception
a melody of magnitude.
*
I'm a blank page,
eager for words of renown -
a phrase of import
a story of prodigiousness.

Eminence
Distinct greatness
Remarkability
remain just out of reach.
Here I linger...

I get this feeling from time to time. Don't love the feeling, but loved the poem. 🤍
I definitely relate to this feeling, especially when I'm bored and stuck at home (like now.)
