I put my heartache into words

Not to be cruel or harsh

I am a lioness of loneliness

My words are like silk,

when I feel like the worm

My intentions pure,as mulberries

My thoughts compost like paper

My brain bleeds,

pouring

seawater into my wounds

When I feel like the worm

My heart wears holes,

like a moth ridden, piece of art

My love is a cocoon,

transformation of a pupa,

cut off, too soon

My life is beautiful,

Like a chrysalis

Envy,

does not live here

Jealousy,

does not stay long

My pride is always reliable

Resilience,

rooted inside me,

like a Palo Verde borer beetle

inspirational
