Feeding the fire

Persistent Inspiration

By shanmuga priyaPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

You are born into greatness,

All too often get resigned to mediocrity,

by the toxic information around us.

And maybe the people around us,

are the information we consume.

Feeding your fire

a process,

a habit of consistently allowing ,

only useful information in orbit.

Feeding your fire

a protection mechanism,

an idea that is

you can't inspire

if you are de-inspired.

Feeding your fire

is doing whatever

on daily basis

because your days are

your life in miniature and

as you live each day,

so you handcraft your life.

So feeding your life

is reading the heroic books

that causes you

go deep

and see how the greatest

women and men of the world did,

what they did.

I know about the de-inspired part. One has to drag themselves out of the funk and rise above the negativity or else you fade away. A very though provoking poem.

  • Indeed, we cannot inspire others if we ourselves are not inspired. Well said.

Marvelous; I loved this: you can't inspire if you are de-inspired.
