Fear and Hope

In the depths of night, fear creeps in

Its icy fingers wrap around my heart

It whispers doubts and tales of sin

And tears my hopes and dreams apart

But even in the darkest hour

When all seems lost and doom is near

A glimmer of hope, a shining power

Can banish every trace of fear

For hope is like a gentle light

That guides us through the darkest night

It lifts us up on wings of might

And shows us paths that once were out of sight

With hope as our faithful guide

We venture forth, our fears aside

And though the road may be long and wide

We know that we will reach the other side

So let us banish all our fears

And cling to hope with all our might

For though we may shed many tears

We will emerge victorious in the light
