Favourite Bonfire Night

Favourite Bonfire Night

Let me take you to a time I will forever cherish. A time that stood still as we made lifelong memories. A time to outlive a lifetime. A lifetime to appreciate the time of our lives.

We had eight friends, now turned family. On a trip to a place far away. In a quest to forget the daily struggle, to banish memories of the days we have hustled, to put aside thoughts of the places we have walked through.

It was time to reminisce, as we sat and shared our stories. The scene was set. The perfect weather. From the sounds of the breeze swaying the trees. To the cracking sound of the burning woods from the fire we set.

This wasn't a fire to fear as we sat around it and became lost in the moment. Eight souls intertwined in the moment. Laughter to last an eternity. The most cracked of voices amongst us sang the loudest. Loads of body movements that I find hard to call dancing. Not like anyone cared though.

What is a party without food and trust that we had enough of it. Suddenly came a downpour of rain that in no way could dampen our mood. Our clothes were soaking wet but the smiles we were wearing was enough shelter.

It was time to call it a day and put off the lights but I'm hoping I have given you an image of my

Favourite bonfire night.
