That single line honestly felt like a slap in the quietest way — “Dithering dilly-dally ducks drown darkly” sounds almost playful at first, but the more I sat with it, the heavier it got, like how procrastination sneaks up disguised as harmless stalling until suddenly you’re underwater. It made me think about how often I tell myself I’m “waiting for the right time” when I’m really just afraid to move. Was there a specific moment or regret that pushed you to boil this message down to something so blunt and sharp?
