the way your name tastes
rolling off my tongue
succulent slowness of caramel
drips from my lips
in sweet reverence
whispered sugar
I am breathless with craving-
hunger-spun syllables
dissolve like honey in flame
let it melt into the hollow of my throat
like a secret i dare not swallow
