Sweat, hard earned, tickles as it runnels o'er brow
Moist, lush scent of freshly tilled soil rises to heaven
Laughter of children hiding in the fields joyful accompaniment
Pluck an ear, taste of first harvested corn explodes on palate
Wondrously beautiful the bounty of well tended nature
