It's Sunday, and what makes the tail end of this weekend special is that it's also Family Day in the United States.
Family networks are rich and complex. Their members may pursue different interests and paths, yet they have ties that bind. That doesn't change, no matter how we try to cut them. They may grow in varied, new ways, but they have a rich and deep identity when united.
The tree, hence, is the perfect family symbol, with anchored roots and branches that spread in different directions. But they combine to shape a perfectly verdant tree.
Let's cherish our families today with these Cinquains.
Green tree
Firm, anchored roots
Branches in varied ways
Their verdant leaves growing anew
Unite
Green tree
Firm roots mingle
Branches entwined
Green leaves apart yet together
Combined.

Nice job. Outside my door, there are a few olive trees. They remind me of my grandmother who was watering them, so as my family's heart. Be blessed, my friend.
Amazing
Excellent piece
